A+ Mobile Techs TERMS OF SERVICE
1. Services Overview
A+ Mobile Techs offers professional Starlink and other IT network related installation and support services to Starlink LEO satellite broadband customers and the public (Customers). This includes Starlink and other IT network related: installation consults, wired and wireless network design, project planning & management, actual installation: dish mounting, low-voltage data cable installation, router & wireless access point configuration and installation, documenting work performed and ensuring that the Starlink and other IT network related systems are working as designed.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By engaging or using the services offered and provided by A+ Mobile Techs, Customer acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Service in full. If Customer does not agree in full to these Terms of Service, Customer is responsible for informing A+ Mobile Techs so that we may exercise our right to refuse service.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Customer must confirm all installation parts they are supplying are onsite prior to confirming the onsite installation appointment. When corresponding with A+ Mobile Techs’ onsite and offsite support personnel, Customer must provide accurate and honest information concerning all aspects of their service request. Customer must also ensure that the installation site is suitable for Starlink installation, including having the necessary power sources, area with a clear view of the sky, and accessibility.
4. HOA’s (home owner’s associations)
It is not A+ Mobile Techs, but the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have permission from their HOA to perform an outdoor, rooftop or building affixed installation or which type of installation that the Customer approves. If the installation is a failed visit due to HOA restrictions, Customer forfeits 100% of any deposit and the service request work order will be closed. Customer may reschedule another new service call once any HOA conflicts are resolved. A+ Mobile Techs is not responsible for any HOA installation conflicts. The Customer bears the sole responsibility for any HOA conflict preventing any installation. We recommend all customers know their rights: OTARD (Over-the-Air Reception Devices rule).
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms, including fees, payment methods, and deadlines, will be outlined in your quote. A deposit of roughly 50% of your total cost is required to book your appointment and full payment is required Due Upon Receipt of the Final Invoice. Additional costs may apply for unique installation requirements, such as additional equipment requirements like lift rentals.
6. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
Any jobs rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a cancellation/rescheduling fee as defined in the quote. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made on the day of service.
7. Service Warranties and Limitations of Liability
Installation services are provided and delivered on an accepted “as is” basis without warranties of any kind. Customer agrees to accept all work “as is” prior to tech’s departure. Return visit(s) will incur an additional service call fee TBD at time-of-service request. A+ Mobile Techs does not guarantee Starlink ISP service, nor are liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use or connect to Starlink. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property during installation, weather interruptions, service interruptions of any kind or delays for any reason including Starlink direct support. A+ Mobile Techs is not responsible for any interactions, guarantees, warranties or other written or verbal agreements between Customer and Starlink support and/or any third party Starlink sales or support.
8. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for an event or effect that cannot be reasonably anticipated or controlled that cause delays or failures in service resulting from events beyond our control, such as extreme or sudden changes in weather conditions that may prohibit an installation or make it unsafe, natural disasters, labor disputes, wars or terrorist attacks or other unforeseen circumstances.
9. Changes to Terms
A+ Mobile Techs reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Any continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Equipment Responsibility
Customers are responsible for the proper storage, use and care of Starlink their equipment post-installation. Damage caused by improper handling, moving, or interference post-installation is the sole responsibility of the customer.
11. Governing Law
Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Privacy Policy
12a. Privacy Policy — Personal Data: The personal data that Customers share with A+ Mobile Techs, including contact information and service details, will not be sold intentionally to any third parties for marketing and promotion purposes.
12b. Privacy Policy — Media Use: A+ Mobile Techs reserves the right to capture and repurpose general installation photos and job details for marketing, training, and promotional purposes, including use on websites, social media and printed materials. These materials will not purposefully disclose personal information or identifying details without explicit consent. If at any time a Customer prefers that installation photos or project details related to their property not be used for marketing purposes, they may contact A+ Mobile Techs to request removal. Upon receiving such a request, A+ Mobile Techs will promptly remove or discontinue use of the associated media.
12c. Privacy Policy — SMS/Text: By provides us with your cell phone number (recipient), the recipient is consenting to: receive text SMS messages from the business; message frequency (number of messages/month/week/etc., frequency varies, or recurring messages); they may reply STOP (or other keywords) to opt-out of future messaging; they may reply HELP for more information; recipient's personal info will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes; message and data rates may apply.
13. Right of Service Refusal
A+ Mobile Techs reserves the right and sole discretion to refuse service for any reason, cancel orders, or terminate installations at any time. If there is a breach of these terms, failure to pay, or unsafe conditions at the installation site, A+ Mobile Techs reserves the right to refuse or reschedule service.
